3 Aloha, This May, 2018 edition of our Finding Help: A Human Services Directory for the State of Hawai`i would not have been possible without the monumental contribution of time and effort from our mental health partners and allies. We at Mental Health America of Hawai`i (MHAH) reached out to our community partners to create the most comprehensive resource for both professionals and the public. Several new categories were created to meet the growing landscape of human services in the state. Since 1942, MHAH (previously called the Mental Health Association in Hawaii) has been dedicated to advocating for improved care and treatment of people with mental illness through program development, education, and advocacy. We have helped to launch major mental health organizations and change policy to improve the care and treatment of people with mental health conditions. As our programs at MHAH continue to grow, keeping this Services Directory updated continues to be one of our proudest achievements to date. With this edition, we have brought the Services Directory into the mobile age with a fully searchable database through Kokua Life, our new suicide prevention mobile app. To download the app, simply visit KokuaLife.org. At MHAH, we serve our community by promoting mental wellness through advocacy, education, and service. If you are seeking help, know that you are not alone and that we are here to help you connect. Trisha Kajimura Executive Director Mental Health America of Hawai`i This Directory is provided to help you find community services and was prepared as completely and accurately as possible. Those seeking assistance are urged to ask each resource for complete information on the services offered. If you know of additional agencies/phone numbers/websites, corrections or suggestions, please contact us at or info@mentalhealthhawaii.org. No endorsement is implied or intended for any agency or service on this list. The printing of this Directory was generously donated by the Beta Beta Gamma Foundation. Updated May
